In Solidarity with Our Community
As we are called to take time to reflect during the stay-at-home order, we are challenged to find new ways of connecting as a community. We are spending our time in our households working, remote-learning, practicing mindfulness and our faith. During the holy month of Ramadan, we find ourselves separated – yet we are bound together by our faith.
With nearly two months of social distancing, many of us are learning to define our routines for remote learning, working from home and caring for our loved ones. Our transition to remote learning could not have been possible without your generosity and commitment to New Horizon School, Irvine.
As we approach our 20-year anniversary at New Horizon, we are in awe of the ways our community faces and overcomes challenges. From our start in September 2001 to today, our community has continued to thrive, bound together as one.
With the current circumstances and the postponement of our Spring Gala, New Horizon’s future has been significantly impacted. As the Fall season approaches, we are making plans to restructure our Annual Fund and expand our tuition adjustment program to support families that have been significantly impacted by the pandemic.
If you can offer a gift during this time, you will be helping another family weather the storm. Your contribution will sustain a child’s Islamic education, will secure our dedicated staff & faculty, and it will invest in the future of New Horizon.
Consider supporting our Solidarity Fund Program during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
